Northern Durham’s Austin Brown couldn’t get enough of the backfield in the Knights’ Week 2 win over Carrboro. Brown recorded four sacks and five tackles to help Northern Durham achieve a 2-0 record for the first time since 2019.

Girls’ Player of the Week: Abigail Valgus, Seaforth volleyball

Seaforth’s Abigail Valgus orchestrated the Hawks’ 3-1 win over Cedar Ridge last week with a season-high 34 assists, 15 digs (also a season-high), four blocks and four aces.
